when i first started singing in the beginning everything started coming together and i finally started living it changed my life i took god into my heart and i felt like i was forgiven since that day music sent me in the right direction and i wanted all the goodies and the trimmings and all the drippings i was flying like the pigeons it became my religion it was written in the good book do unto others as u would yourself god is good for youre health and im learning to heal i hope you still feel like you could build bridges repair broken relationships creating awareness in all fairness i care now but i was once careless now im fearless just trying to create awareness love the simple things open youre heart even though my skin remains hairless stand up dont let the crowd drag you down this is my mad city its a crazy town at least i know who i am now i finally stood up and can be counted now i can be seen and i learnt to stand out in the crowd im not lost no more but at least i found out what life is all about that why my dad is so proud he found out about my dream so now im making my rounds finally exiting this roundabout and im heading to the deep south say it out loud you cant keep a good man down ive been down and never again im going to stay in my own lane nothing lost nothing gained it was worth the weight i will pay the frieght if you promise to come over and stay late im only asking for one date one day at a time i found god and i have seen the light as day turns into night i look at the sky and i know everything is going to be alright
