Life's a struggle, gotta fight through the pain Every day's a battle, trying to stay sane I'm on my grind, trying to make it out the hood But it's hard when the odds ain't good They say God's got a plan, but it's hard to see When my life's filled with so much misery. I pray for strength, to keep moving forward But sometimes it feels like I'm stuck dark in a corner I'm lost in this world, trying to find my way Hoping that the lord will guide me every day So I keep my head up, and my faith strong Knowing that I'll make it, no matter how long I'm still breathing, wondering if the lord is real But I know deep down, he's the only one who can heal my heart is weak and I can't sit still, but being real is a commitment that these demons can't steal. appearing to be fearless in a world full of fear. trying to remember that no matter where I go he is near. Jesus please take the wheel and steer. because I'm seeing death in my rear view and it's hard to maintain when you know death is near you putting his cold hand upon my shoulder . so I pulled over got out and told death I'm a real soldier showing no fear knowing that my angels are near. then death just disappeared before my own eyes and it was clear I had overcome fear. and I'm still breathing there's a reason I'm still here but that reason unclear.
