WALKED HARD TIMES in my neighborhood which was cool but differently poverty I had many friends we hang out with tunes smoked weed and drank until the sun went down I differently battle with booze WALKED HARD TIMES Momma stayed home to watch us grow she would cry all nite wishing things would change Daddy worked here and there to provide some food at times he wouldn’t even come home WALK HARD TIMES The City was beautiful surrounded by a huge ocean swim all day until 5 we had floats and we would bury each other in the sand until a bully came to start a fight WALK HARD TIMES we had cookouts parades people all over town would come to celebrate ruined because and outsider would start a fight police are called 9 locked up but the day would go on that’s what its like WALKED HARD TIMES We had hard times but we all learned from it you have to work for what you want in this life Now 18 I finished school working to get to college to land a good job not to live in poverty and to raise a family that wont have to say WALKED HARD TIMES climbs
