While my stay in Fiji in 2009 one night my cousin and I went to see fire walking and a tirikuttu performance. It started with the devotees going to the river to take a bath. Then dropping of the marigold flower for the prayer to start. After the fire walking we drank grog and we watched the tirikuttu dance. The next morning was a Sunday so no bus. We thought to hitchhike but we had to walk all the way to Vitogo PaiPai from Lovu Sangam.
