Depression What is depression? I’ll start out and tell you my own definition of Of depression and it goes a little something like this. Depression it never gets any better Like those with herpes it comes and goes I’m not gonna lie depression hurts I’m not gonna lie depression hurts At times it feels like I gotta knife to my throat I’m going through this emotional hurt All this stress Must be what it feels like to be a captain Fuck maybe I should ask kirk Puttin in all that goddam work Still feelin the emotional hurt Depression comes and goes Depression just die Without you my life would be free Without you depression I wouldn’t have learned life lessons Putting my in that work And still not feeling good enough No matter what I do Nothing seems right Unless I’m in an argument or a fight Then my head is clear Like crystal cuz all my hatred and anger Are freed Depression perhaps that’s just what I need Depression teaches you Who will be there in those times of need And who those fake friend’s are In those times of greed
