i been on a head trip. my next fall might be my ...last slip. yeah... been a long time coming. facing my demons... I'm runnin. all day long are replays. my mind is a headcase. just writing this out so you know what it's about. yeah.... wonder when God's gonna call my name. because I don't hear mine... being called. no friends at all better off alone. my mind is my only sin. second guesses got me thinking again. yeah.... I'm on that ledge no one to pull back in. my hearts a deceiver. leading me down ....believer. yeah.... I ask and pray but my words have no sway. seems like it's all a lie. deep inside conflicted and confused. yeah.... what do you do when your daydreams turn to nightmares. lord wake me from this place. don't know how much more I can take. yeah.... I'll just pray and wait. don't know how much time is left. but I won't spend the last on dread. may I rest in peace. with your hand in reach. lie me down to sleep. in the land of green. wondering when I'll wake from this dream. life's struggles have been my blessings. no worries I ain't tripping. uniquely made from the day I was born.
