I see all the waysl am hilly before I am something to dive in. T believe my photos are not the true image of myself. Ihave watched the bold and the beautiful when my parents were broke and Rich was on Tv. I have watched broken dreams sold at university halls, I know people with college bags and half degrees. I see uneducated mothers raising learners, I know learning your mother-tongue will not teach you to understand your mother's pain. I know blood is thicker than water. I've seen African poets who've crossed waters and bled on American stages to unify with the blackness of an African American audience. But truth is we do not come from blackness, We comne from a land where the sun comes So close as if to watch over us like a father, we are sons of the sun, living with daughters of the moon, we cannot claim the stars of African Americans
