I’m tired I’m angry at this world I look at my children everyday Knowing that I’m blessed But why won’t this pain go away I ask god everyday to keep me strong Keep waking me up every day So I can defeat my demons inside my head I know my heart right now feels like it’s in a million pieces I’m slowly picking them up Putting it back together trying to build a better me A version that my kids and boyfriend Can see physically and emotionally I feel like when they look at me They see that I’m hurting but being strong Honestly I feel like I’m dying inside Choking on a pill I can’t swallow Depression is no joke I just wish the person that would listen To my problems was still here and not in heaven. Since that day til today I say rest in paradise Never a day I go without thinking about you When things get tough I always think what you would say to me If you was still here You was always my shoulder to cry on Someone to run to I wish there was more of you Just listen to me up from heaven please Guide me where I need to be.
