I wrote the verse to this back in 2005 while I was sitting in a hotel room full of guns and drugs...i sat down with my pen looking across the room at her while she slept, it was day 6 and we had committed enough felonys to lock us up for life but back then i didn't give a fuck about life...and she didn't either...10 years later I wrote the hook in a DSU block at Snake river I hadn't seen or heard from her in years but I would think about her every now and then....4 years later I was released and she hit me up now she shares my last name as we grind our here the legal way but never forget where we've been
