going down memory lane a hole filled in is never the same the past is in the past and I'm to blame should have been better than the trauma grief and pain regretting letting myself go insane my inner child she won't trust me I keep trying in vain fragments of a whole and nothing left to gain Grandma's words repeat missy just break the chain I lied to her again took our body for a spin down a rabbit hole of sin the shadows creeps controls my skin keeps me weak always running cut myself I was numbing in a state of constant judging I'm always hurting something faced my demons and they cowered in my sight I'm the brighter being no darkness puts out my light underestimated but I put up a fight breaking down walls, waking from a dark night living a path of reaction always immediate response caused so much fraction like dropping atomic bombs give space for the fallout and take a pause just look deeper and find the root cause the mind keeps racing I need rewiring if I can pull this off it might be inspiring all the inner noise finally is quieting heard Yahs still small voice in a storm that was frightening loved enough to put away the knife healing wounds built on generations of strife I'm concentrating on best souce for He's a spring of life its what makes me a better child woman mom and wife #mellowflo #truthtellers #truthmusicmovement #healing #trauma #worthyoftime
