#slashinc Living with mental health,it's a constant fight like a roller coaster,getting thrown from left to right, Emotions running high,can't control my mind Wish I could rewind, and just leave it all behind our world's a mess,makes me so damn stressed Politics and greed, everywhere we look there's unrest They say they want peace, but all they do is fight Every time they speak, another war they ignite People don't understand, they think I'm insane But it's my fucked up brain, that's causing all this pain Feeling empty inside, can't fill the void feels like no one cares, am just a toy sick of corrupt leaders,lying through their teeth While we live in poverty, they're living so elite The planet's on fire and they don't even care They just keep on pumping poisonous shit into our air Therapy and meds,they're two of my best friends Trying to find a way out,just trying to mend But it's hard when you're a prisoner inside your own head. sometimes feeling like you'd just be better off dead We got hunger,poverty,we got disease govenments keep lying and doing as they please It's time for revolution, it's time for something new We need a world that really fuckin cares for me and you we all hold a darkness inside our soul It's the side we all have, but no one ever wants to show It's the hate, the anger, the envy and the pride The selfishness and greed that we try so hard to hide shitty mental health is a battle to overcome But I won't give up, until the war is won I'll keep fighting, until I find the light just gotta keep writing but i know I'll be alright.
