The song is about my state of mind and my love-hate relationship with rap music. The hook emphasizes the my acknowledgment of being a little bit out of my mind, but expresses also the determination to change that. Despite my frustration, I admit to loving rap because it drives me to madness in a creative way when I'm on the mic, which is when I truly come alive.
