There's a monster under my bed, lurking in the dark. I'm paralyzed with fear, I can't even make a remark. My heart is beating fast, my breaths are shallow. I don't know what to do, I feel so hollow. . Verse 2:. I try to close my eyes, and shut out the noise. But the fear is overwhelming, it's like a constant voice. Telling me that I'm not safe, that danger is near. I don't know how to fight it, I'm consumed by the fear. . Verse 3:. But I know deep down, that the monster isn't real. It's just a product of imagination, a way for me to feel. In control of a situation, that's beyond my grasp. But the fear is still there, it's like a tight clasp. . Verse 4:. So I try to take deep breaths, and calm my racing mind. I remind myself that the monster is only in my mind. I focus on the present, and the reality of my surroundings. And slowly but surely, the fear starts to be grounding. . Verse 5:. I realize that the unknown, can be scary and dark. But it's also a chance, for us to make a spark. To overcome our fears, and find the courage to be bold. To face the monsters under our beds, and not let them take hold. . Verse 6:. So let's face our fears, and take them head-on.
