Dr. Disrespect By Captain-Crewmate YouTube & Spotify: Captain-Crewmate (Lyrics) We've all grown up to accept a run-down system that benefits on fucked up shit like profiteering, starting wars that didn't exist saying shit that doesn't make sense like no drugs for kids then pumping em' with shit like Vicodan and Ritalin it doesn't make sense there's no pretense they don't protect, I ain't got no respect in me left, why should I care when they never did in the first place I should educate, self medicate, shit my mouth hurts let me pop some Benzocaine, my brains all fucked up this system wasn't designed to take care of us. we act like our vote matters when in reality it's really the comfort we're after, maybe we're a part of something bigger, better, stronger. Pop another pill it's that feeling were after if the drugs were stronger, maybe if I worked harder, I've got so many regrets shit it's hard to live on right the rapture is after the world collapse, I'll never respect I'll never forgot I get outta bed at night shit I wonder why, you know I can't deny I'd never lie, I lay awake at night. Shit could I have done better maybe if I tried harder, if I were smarter, If I were stronger, If I knew more, If I- Know wait don't think like that, lets run that back (yeah). You matter, I matter. It's hard right now trying to win a fight that you can't even comprehend. The system was rigged from the beginning to keep those at the top and those at the bottom seperated, ever close ever distant, outlying, still trying to escape the cycle full of psychos. I know it's hard right now, I know it's hard right now, I hope my words can comfort you whether it's top or not. As George Carlin said not long ago, the ones on top aren't far from the low. So you see this is the end of story or is it, can we make a difference? Can you? Maybe it starts with a gunshot blow, maybe if we made a change maybe, maybe if we started a movement. Maybe if we tried, we could do it. start with a change, start with you in order to make a new you must start by sayin what's true Martin Luther King: "My four little children will one day live in an America where judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
