If there's one thing I've learned making this song, untalented rappers are hilariously insecure and need a sense of humor... taught me... Marshall may have been inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, but it's Slim Shady that put him there. After selling more rap records than anyone else, Slim Shady was a cultural phenomenon. You could call him the King of the Hill. Growing up, Slim was my main male role model. Having grown up, I can recognize the pathological impact that man had on my psyche, and interestingly, I feel as though his journey from the Marshall Mathers LP 1 to 2 reflects my own growth as a person as well. Marshall can thank all the Rappers who got him to the top, but in reality, it was raping about r@ping his own mother and killing his baby Mama that the masses fed into and fueled the marketing machines to push misogyny into the minds of the masses like never before. This is a man we honor in today's culture... wtf?
