I'm up early every morning earlier than most steady arming myself for the day first thing I do is pray for a more enlightened twenty four can't go backwards anymore cuz if im.not progressing then I haven't learned the lesson of yesterday's mistakes a moment of reflection I take try to clear my mind of doubt reinforce what I'm about progress not perfection no hinderances, just blessings gotta work on my perspective with friends got to be more selective I take notice of the times I reach out, yet no reply no love lost but I'll stop trying cuz without me they not dying I be hurt but it's okay focusing on this new day I breathe in I breathe out and I go another route time to give all my energy to the things in front of me no point in dwelling on the past as I get older things move so fast I'm ready to embrace this day right now i got a lot to say my mind is lifted, soul's intact I'm truly blessed, that's a fact if you're stuck on who I used to be that's all on you, not on me everyday I'm growing more it seems that God opened the door and I'm ready to step through no I'm not acting brand new but no one ever stays the same to get better everyday is the aim and sometimes I fall short thanks for all the love and support truly thankful for the ones that stayed heart goes out to those that prayed I'm here today standing firm goodbye past, lesson learned

that's why I don't like using headphones, but it's suggested. the beat is way louder than my voice. do I just turn the volume down to compensate???
