At the end of the day there is suggestion but no scientific proof that God talked directly to prophets for them to write down his laws and life lessons. What science does prove is that at one point there were two humans and presumably a short time after that language was created turning human thought into a repeatable, inheritable, program for information called Word. In this early stage where we convert our thoughts into sound (google the Bicameral Mind) lying wouldn’t be possible because subconsciously you have to think of the truth in order to hide and replace it with words that logically connect (lie). The science behind the bicameral mind indicates we spoke our every thought, even bad intentions were communicated in real time to your thoughts. At this point of genisus, the truthful unbiased human experiences and beliefs are recorded and the beneficial information got put into a story format that can be passed down and benefit all future generations, this original story eventually became a documentation of the generations as the story was passed down, listing LONG family trees and and great cities (Enoch) that then started to add more wisdom into their passed down story (Tablets) those that got to add wisdom to these tablets where called prophets where all new teachings where in full harmony with “Gods Word” and in time became apart (a chapter) in “Gods Word” the (Insert Your Bible Here). The common denominator with these prophets is they all claimed they spoke from the heart without lying and the universe communicated to them, a lot of them had the habit before being recognized as a prophet, so what ended up being recorded by them sounds like “the father” trying to speak and help you as that was their honest good intention when generating more Words from God. This expansion towards understanding and connecting more intimately with source (God) definitely happens in current modern times, but so called prophets now don’t wait for the title they try and take it by pushing new teachings that don’t full connect with Gods Word or purpose, these new teachings are lined with some truth, which is why they have followers but their teachings are corrupted with there own purpose(red flags are things that require faith without proven experienceable outweighing benefits) the personal motive usually is to hold the title of prophet (Gods Messenger) to hold the power of a modern day messiah. Actual modern day prophets are possible but there has only been around 23 globally accepted prophets and not one of them is from our recent history books, most teachings or solutions in our books have been more harmful then good for generations consistently so “Gods Word” has stopped expanding as it can not be anything but good, so we couldn’t give new generations recent more relatable update(teachings, ideas). We have just re-read and recycled Gods Word with pollutant lies/teachings picked up by false prophets along the way with no traceable author or scripture to back it up(usually just fear). A true prophet will add/be discovered or add his chapter soon, if we continue to focus so much on mental health and childhood trauma it’s possible to skip waiting on generations to heal/pay for our sins. And we will start acting and raising (Prophets) Gods Messengers with the intent of restoring the ways and life of truth we once had where we not only passed it down but actively creating new truths that only benefit future life.
