I just had to talk to this beat once again// with a few more thoughts/// more frustration as I walk/// Through this thing we call life///despite my wrongs I try to live life right/// been through many dark nights lived through many dark days/// Praying that the lord forgive me for my ways/// I'll get back to that cause I got something else I wanna say///Yeah I got something else to say I just wanna speak on these tradgedies occurring across the world, This is our Black History as we approach the mont of Black History 1-29 23 and we/// approaching the month of Black history /// and it's crazy how my Black people are making history Rewind back prior to this year 2-24-22. A Black man decides to shoot another Black man/// I just couldn't understand/// Cause That man Who caught them shots happens to be my brother/// and I was given this news from my Mother/// Felt like time froze cause everything stopped///My heart dropped, and my whole body got hot/// I'll never be the same/// After the Death of my brother Wayne Black on Black Violence and I just can't stay silent/// It's a new year And tradgedy /// struck another black family/// This one involves the police who's supposed to serve,and protect/// But Tyre Nichols Suffered a broken neck/// Five Black officers beat another Black man to death/// As he screams for his mother/// My heart goes out to his Mother/// My heart goes out to his 4 year old Son /// The cop said he tried to reach for his Gun/// I saw the video/// I heard him submit but they chose to keep beatin him///pepper spraying him///no where did I see he was a threat/// All I heard was them threatin/// and Tyre didn't even have a weapon They said he was reaching for his gun/// I beg to differ, that man tried to submit with no gun in hand ...
