Staring up at the stars Oh can't you see That I am trapped In a maze of memories Wandering right Not a single end in sight I'm feeling ready to fight But no one knows of my plight Standing in the dark Standing in the silence The only sound my footsteps And my own mind's violence Trying to speak But I am far too weak I've reached past my peak And my blood starts to leak I just wanna be me I just wanna flee Just wanna sail the sea From my despair be set free I don't even know myself It's been a while since the start I'm lost and even though I try I'm unable to find my heart
