Shivers with the Cold nights,scissors to the soul ties,used to live my live behind a figure,now I'm looking in the mirror and I understand the man underneath all the aggression,too many tears wept for all the soldiers we done lost in the fleet,when my people died drove me crazy swear it swept me off my feet,but still a stand strong with a sense of humor to keep my spirits up,life too short to be concerned with everything going on around me,sorry if I missed it sorry if the purple got my brain kinda cloudy,sorry if I come off as a jerk but I need my time to self reflect,n when I don't get it I blow up then they say I aint got no respect,but all I feel I'm doing is the right thing when I'm getting things in check,and now I push forward can't knock me down because I'm past the regret,past the hurt,I'll walk around alone before I'll ever make it work,tear my heart to peices then just throw me on a shirt,by the same people that claim the ride or die,but still the ones that try to overthrow your success n power cause they ain't got like u got it,now am I lying or not,why you so called brothas or friends always turning thot,that, everytime I turn my head a body drops,confusion with the fusion of the tears caused by grief n loss,put all your greens in the basket your salad could get tossed,if u can't u can't understand what I'm saying then it ain't 4 you,the music I make is to turn your conscience on,then u can see problems with the world today,people really lost they way,the way I'm living is ight but I wanna get better,the only way u fail n fall is if u let it,its all about the mindset really but people don't get it,
