Not a long time ago brand new arena opened and honestly it was a blessing in disguise, since the residents of Mazeikiai have a soft spot for various sport activities. And so on June 17th a whole new world came to life. The Swift Arena was up and running in my good old town. There we have padel, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball courts and a luxurious gym with a swimming pool and obviously a spa for the best quality time there. I myself used to go to basketball and it was a passion of mine for a long time, so when the arena opened I was excited to go back to basketball or even try out new sports that I might’ve or might’ve not liked. This is a very interesting place in Mazeikiai. It is a mini Eifel tower and is a very popular place to take photos in. A lot of my friends take pictures there and they always turn out very realistic. This place makes Mazeikiai a very memorable place. At night it lights up and looks even better. Next to the tower is a  pretty big shopping mall and a market. it is surrounded by trees and houses. So as we can see the Eifel tower plays a pretty big role in the beautiful scenery This is one of the most beautiful places in Mazeikiai. The Juodpelkio park has 5 mountains and by the locals it is usually just called "the 5 mountains", but no matter how it is called it'll always have a spot in my heart. Usually by the time summer rolls around a beautiful fountain is released. It glows all kinds of colors and you can even see it from a far.      When I was little in winter I used to always go down the mountains with sleighs. Going faster than the lightning itself. I always loved taking long relaxing walks there alone or with friends, and obviously even have a swim in the big lake right next to the mountains.  This big and magnificent school was my high school. Here I spent the last 4 years of my sweet teenage life and I had a blast. In the cafeteria we had great food and drinks. My classmates were absolutely awesome and included me in various school activities. It includes a volleyball club, dance club, basketball club, vocal ensemble, chemistry club and an art club. Wit some many options to choose from this school really brings out the best in its students. The school in 1919 November 11 was founded by Merkelis Rackauskas, specialist in classical languages, professor of Kaunas Vytautas Magnus University, translator from Greek and Latin languages. During the almost 90-year history of the school, it has changed its name and status several times - from high school, pro-gymnasium to gymnasium. The first gymnasium in Mazeikiai district was established in 1925. August 25 founded by Merkelis Rackauskas, specialist in classical languages, professor at Kaunas Vytautas the Great and Vilnius Universities, translator from Greek and Latin languages. This is the biggest church in Mazeikiai. It is open all days of the week and obviously people go here for religious purposes. This church hits close to home because I used to go here with my family on Christmas, Easter etc. You can find it in the center of Mazeikiai, that is why it's so popular and is the most visited church there. in 1992 a group was formed whose goal was to build a second Catholic church in the city and restore the parish in a new part of the city. in 1993 January 16 an interdepartmental commission was formed to select the location of the new house of worship. in 1994 in June, a cross was consecrated on the site of the future church. in 1996 May 12 in the construction area of the new church, above the raised foundations of the future central altar, the first St. The Mass was held by Bishop Antanas Vaičius of Telšiai. The cornerstone of this church was consecrated on the same day.
