I was there mumma when you went through all that struggle and pain I was there when you was sick had clot in your brain and even though everything changed and times were hard I remained the same I was there mumma when you got slapped in the face by your husband thinking he was big a low life man that was a disgrace I had to man up he took a punch to the face I was there mumma when you got on the drugs amd tried to act discreet took my business from under my feet even had my step dad make me sleep on the street for 6 days in the snow without a thing to drink or eat I was still there mumma even though people asked me why I would stick around to be taken for a fool and look like a clown I was there mumma when my sister died I was there mumma when ever you broke down and cried I was there mumma coz I cared mumma then mumma died left me with no mumma but I did what a man was ment to do take care of you that's why I can say I was there mumma and I don't wanna be the man he thought I would be just wanted to be the man I knew I could be keep an open mind never judge and I'm still here mumma giving the world love so don't despair mumma coz I'm gonna make you so proud one day be a million air mumma now I'm a man trying to make end meat with so many men trying to compete on the street someone could take it all in a heart beat that why I must stay humble and stay on my feet keep it real keep it moving until my lifes complete yeah I've done a lot wrong but in my defence what chance did I have being a kid on the streets with holes in his shoes on his feet god as my witness he was there so I don't care how you wanna judge me coz only those that lived that life can see that side of me was just to keep me alive instead of the cemetery it's free to live so I live to be free
