long ago I lost my brother yeah my mother cried but I held my emotions on the inside cuz that's what men are supposed to do right hide our emotions till we can't anymore cuz because it feels like the weight of the ocean. 69 percent of suicides in a year are committed by men because when we try to show our emotions we get told to shut up and be a man. so we just bottle it up until the bottle cracks and our emotions turn into axe. i guess what I'm trying to say is men should be able to show their emotions without being called weak I believe a lot of suicides would be prevented if men could speak out because they're just trying to seek help. people who refuse to listen might as well tie the rope on the beam
