The reason for my ascension came from hard Work 1 Had a lot of envious people hoping slide under the earth 2 They said it was just a phase I would grow out of 3 So they gave up a lot of fake hug's and fake love 4 Which I used as motivation to fuel my drive 5 Even when everybody else had they own rides 6 I was on the city bus talking bout we was coming 7 Transition from prison to society I was running 8 On every social media platform getting you ready 9 Then when the door opened up I had major artillery heavy 10 I had song's already written some memorized 11 I lived that shit so many nights I cried 12 From loved ones lost to death some got off the ride 13 They just couldn't stomach the bed being empty at night 14 I respected the truth rather you not tell me a lie 15 It was growth in that experience it shaped me right 16
