adjust your music verses your voice, pick a place where sound is best. if you have to, do sound checks to see where sounds best. when free styling do a couple times each time you might have more ideas or ways to make it rhyme better.save most recordings cuz might be able to use lyrics from something incomplete to complete something else. when recording write something in your comments box when saving track to help jog your memory of your thoughts at the time of recording your track,that way if it's unfinished n you come back to it you ll have some idea of what your head space or ideas were at the time of recording. hope my thoughts are easy to understand and help you out. oh and don't be afraid to post songs it helps show your progress and gives other artists a chance to give you tips.
