first time trying the rap thing, haven't written or really ever done anything kther than listen to rap, so let me know how you think I went for my first time.

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.
