Yea aye It’s a fucked up world we live in nowadays And life is goin by so fast it feels like a fuckin haze Aye where did the time go Why did we ever want to be adults so bad tho All the days we spent as kids God damn wish I’d have cherished it Although I got all those lovely memories It makes me wanna cry Brings me pain To know that I’ve let my childhood pass me by and y’all can’t say that you don’t feel the same way cuz I know you lying Aye I’m young and I still can’t believe how Fast the days go by But it’s ok you make friends Although some of em may drift away It’s hard to say But everyday I keep telling myself it’ll be ok As long as I keep on prayin That tomorrow will be better than today And as I get older I just feel more and more pain How come we wanted to grow up so fast And be grown ups so bad All those years we spent together All filled with joy and laughter Every time I think about it This shit just makes me sadder
