It was 1994 on the Southside of the Chi I was so scared to be without my Granny first day of school wasn't there to hold my hand See granny was the Queen that led the whole family watched everybody kids, taught everybody kids, fed everybody kids, raised everybody kids that's when she taught me be careful who you trust cause some out for self.. wait everybody is prayed 5 times a day and she taught me how to fast it seems good people and good times don't ever last trying to take my time and be patient as a dad appreciate mistakes, encourage, and be a fan be vulnerable and talk bout how you feel that's how you be a man we all make mistakes but will you learn how to own them? Son comes crying to his father does he hold him or does he scold him when I was coming up be a man is what they told me a man could get through anything is what they sold me but being toxic was the only thing they ever showed me had to come across a real bitch to expose me Real growth happens when you take on your self not all your thoughts are good for your health And they don't properly represent your true self don't carry this weight dog, you can ask for help I know helping you is just helping myself help building you is just building myself I pray for you and I pray to myself may we heal together and heal all the rest Word.
